Charley, ted, all..
I suppose a winnable home game on Boxing day is about the best we can hope for right now. I've found myself getting bored with our season over the last month or so, we desperately need some new faces, and early Jan, not last fucking day. I fancy us in this one, hopefully the big man is okay to play.

Talk of Spurs Palace being off. That'll fuck their Boxing day up. What a pity :-)

Antonio's wife is playing? To be fair she would probably do a better job right now.

Morning Charley Morning all Just invested in a VPN to see this one. I should go, as I'm in the right country, but will give it a miss due to covid and no trains. First boxing day game in a long long time that I will miss when back for Christmas. Best odds for a ratch that I can remember, would be nice. HAMMERS

Sold my tickets for this one as was supposed to be doing Boxing Day with my parents - both of whom now have the Covids. So at home watching on a stream it is.

"I've found myself getting bored with our season over the last month or so,"
Kinell, Manuel.
I have the negative feelings that the wheels could come off at any moment, due to a couple more injuries and a dodgy transfer window. I'm also starting to feel paranoid that the powers that be have it in for us with all that's gone on recently. I'm sure I'm not alone with feeling all of this.
But feeling bored? Come on MANuel, it's not been boring.

Well a lot of recent games have bored me SUM fella, all huff and puff and can't hit a barn door with a banjo. Burnley, Wolves, Brighton, Arsenal to name 4 of late. Not boring? Fair enough, you must have seen different games to me. Six without a win and the early season form we were showing has gone. Have you not heard Moyes complaining after almost every game of late? The one striker situation has effected us a lot, as many predicted it would.
Would be nice to see a fluid, fast paced performance today, while taking our chances, so let's see.

What we are experiencing at games at the moment is the same old West Ham…..lacking the depth to reinforce any good progress made….that format is surely boring for most West Ham supporters?……no matter what we may still be in competition wise there is a feeling we’ll not have our best 11 to give it our best shot as always…..then add in the blatant ref/VAR biased and football is already a ‘super’ league…..

Looking forward to this today.

Hard to disagree with Manuel really. We have looked tired and lacking in any real belief and we seem to be going into games hoping rather than anticipating a decent result. Today wont be easy but fuck it,where are we without hope?

Manuel
We're nowhere near as boring and/or shit as lots of teams we've had in the past.
We've been guilty of not being as clinical as a team in our position should be.
Not surprising though, when we only have 1 (out of form) striker. Werealso running on empty due to the schedule this means that players that have been over performing are now under performing. Soucek is the only exception in that he's been under performing most of the season - understandable as he's clearly been fucked and asked to play differently for a while.
Oh, and we've had more or less our whole 1st team defence out with injury for quite a while now.
We've also been stitched up (and seen certain teams helped out) by the powers that be.
We've done well, all things considered.
Having said all that, if the club, in the position we're in, doesn't go out and buy the players necessary to push us on and fight to do well in the cups and the league, then I'll be disappointed and fucked off.
And let's not be fooled by the 'but there's no one available' bollocks. There are plenty of players in the world available, if we want them to be (pay the fucking money, board).
